(ANNOUNCER)>> TODAY WE'RE DRESSING UP OUR 2006 GMC SIERRA BY PAINTING THE FRONT FASCIA AND THE BRAKE CALIPERS. THEN WE'RE GONNA VISIT THE BUSHWACKER FACTORY TO SEE HOW THEY DESIGN AND MAKE SOME OF THE BEST FLARES IN THE BUSINESS. IT'S ALL TODAY HERE ON TRUCKS.

(RYAN)>> HEY GUYS, WELCOME TO TRUCKS. TODAY WE'VE GOT OUR '06 GMC SIERRA BACK IN THE SHOP. NOW RECENTLY WE ADDED A NITROUS KIT TO THIS THING, AND IT'S TURNING INTO A PRETTY GOOD LOOKING BUT

STILL COMPLETELY FUNCTIONAL AND STILL DAILY DRIVABLE STREET TRUCK THAT WE CAN TAKE TO THE DRAG STRIP EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE AND HAVE A LITTLE FUN WITH. NOW SO FAR WE'VE DONE A FEW THINGS TO THIS TRUCK TO HELP IT OUT AESTHETICALLY.

WE'VE LOWERED IT DOWN AND ADDED SOME 20 INCH

TIRES AND WHEELS. BUT OTHER THAN THAT, WELL IT STILL LOOKS LIKE IT DID WHEN IT ROLLED OFF OF THE ASSEMBLY LINE. SO TODAY WE'RE GONNA DO A FEW THINGS TO HELP IT OUT IN THE LOOKS DEPARTMENT BUT STILL NOT BREAK THE BANK.

(KEVIN)>> AND YOU GUYS ALL KNOW THAT SOME OF THE MOST EFFECTIVE CUSTOM TECHNIQUES ARE OFTEN THE SIMPLEST.

AND PERSONALLY I GO FOR UNDERSTATED STYLE ANYWAY. SO YOU DON'T' HAVE TO SPEND A WHOLE LOT OF MONEY TO MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE. NOW WITH THIS TRUCK THERE'S KIND OF A THEME. IT'S RED PAINT AND A LOT OF BLACK ACCENTS. FOR INSTANCE, THE GRILL, THE DOOR HANDLES, THE MIRRORS, THE BODY SIDE MOLDINGS, AND THE REAR BUMPER, BUT WHAT DO WE HAVE HERE. WE HAVE A GRAY LOWER FASCIA AND IN MY OPINION THERE'S NO REASON FOR OTHER THAN TO KEY IN WITH THE INTERIOR COLOR. SO WE CAN DO BETTER THAN THAT AND IT'S A VERY SIMPLE FIX. WE'RE JUST GONNA PAINT THIS, GIVE IT KIND OF A MONOCHROMATIC LOOK, PAINT IT BODY COLOR RED, AND IT'S GONNA BRING THIS TRUCK UP TO A LITTLE MORE OF A CUSTOM LEVEL WITHOUT BREAKING THE BANK. OKAY, WITH THE BUMPER REMOVED AND DISASSEMBLED, NOW WE CAN START TALKING ABOUT THE PAINTING PROCESS. BY THE WAY, IF YOU HAVE ONE OF THESE TRUCKS, IT'S A HECK OF A LOT EASIER TO REMOVE THE BUMPER ASSEMBLY WITH THE GRILL REMOVED, WHICH IS JUST SOME SPRING STEEL PUSH CLIPS AND ONE FASTENER. NOW RIGHT HERE WE'RE LEAVING THE CHROME ALONE BECAUSE WE KINDA LIKE THE WAY IT LOOKS AND IT'S GONNA MATCH THE BACK. ALL WE'RE GONNA WORRY ABOUT REFINISHING IS THIS LOWER PLASTIC FASCIA. NOW THE REASON YOU WANT TO PULL IT APART IN THE FIRST PLACE IS REALLY EVIDENT RIGHT HERE. THIS IS WHERE THE CHROME PART COVERS IT UP. SEE WHERE THIS DUST HAS COLLECTED, THAT IS NOT GONNA BE WHERE YOUR PAINT LANDS. YOUR PAINT IS GONNA BRIDGE OVER HERE AND BE REALLY THIN RIGHT ALONG HERE. WHAT THAT'S GONNA DO IS OVER TIME, AND NOT MUCH TIME, THAT'S GONNA FLAKE OFF AND IT'S GONNA LOOK UNPROFESSIONAL. BREAKING THIS APART WILL GIVE YOU PROFESSIONAL RESULTS WITH NO MORE WORK INVOLVED. BUT PAINT DOESN'T STICK TO PLASTIC, IT JUST DOESN'T. IN THE FIRST PLACE THIS IS AN OLDER TRUCK. IT'S PROBABLY HAD TIRE DRESSING OR SOME KIND OF A FEEL GOOD SCHMUTZY WARM SHINNY STUFF PUT ON IT AT ONE POINT OR ANOTHER. NEVER MIND ROAD DEBRIS, NEVER MINE GRIME, BUG GUTS, ALL THAT OTHER TYPE OF STUFF. THE OTHER THING IS THAT WHEN THESE PARTS ARE MADE, THEY'RE MADE IN A MOLD. THERE IS A RELEASE AGENT THAT ALLOWS THEM TO POP OUT OF THE MOLD.

IT'S USUALLY SILICONE OR SOME WAX BASED SILICONE DERIVATIVE, AND PAINT DOESN'T STICK TO IT. SO YOU'VE GOT TO DO A LITTLE BIT OF EXTRA DUE DILIGENCE AND PREP THIS PROPERLY, HERE'S HOW. WE'RE USING A THREE PART PPG ADHESIVE PROMOTER SYSTEM THAT YOU GUYS CAN GET FROM ANY BODY SHOP SUPPLY. OURS CAME FROM AUTO BODY COLOR AND SUPPLY. BRIAN AND THE GUYS ALWAYS FIX US UP. BUT HERE'S HOW IT WORKS.

THIS IS AN APPLICATION AND A SCUFFING SPONGE. GETS IN ALL THOSE LITTLE CREVICES OF THE BUMPER. THIS IS A CLEANER THAT CLEANS OFF THE RESIDUE FROM THE APPLICATOR SPONGE IN THE CLEANING PROCESS. ONCE IT'S DRY, THEN HERE'S THE MAGIC. THIS IS THE ADHESION PROMOTER SPRAY THAT ACTUALLY SOFTENS THE PLASTIC UP AND ALLOWS YOUR PAINT TO STICK ONCE IT'S CLEAN. NOW THIS IS VERY SIMPLE BUT YOU'VE GOT TO DO ALL THREE STEPS, AND IT STARTS WITH A LITTLE BIT OF ELBOW GREASE. NOW WITH PLASTICS IT'S ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA TO DO A PRECLEAN WITH HOT SOAPY WATER AND A STRONG SOAP LIKE A DISH SOAP. I'VE ALREADY DONE THAT, SO NOW IT'S TIME FOR THE ONCE CHOICE SYSTEM. THE SPONGE HAS A SCUFFING PAD ATTACHED TO IT AND IT COMES SOAKED IN A REALLY STRONG CLEANER. THAT'S WHY I'M WEARING GLOVES. AFTER WE SCRUBBED THE HECK OUT OF IT, TAKE SOME SCOTT

PRO SHOP TOWELS AND WIPE OFF THE RESIDUE. FOLLOW THAT WITH SOME HOT WATER, SOME MORE SCOTT TOWELS, AND MAKE SURE THAT THE CLEANING STEP IS COMPLETELY REMOVED FROM THE BUMPER COVER BEFORE YOU GO ONTO THE ADHESION STEP. A LITTLE BIT OF COMPRESSED AIR CHASES THE WATER OUT OF THE CREVICES, WHICH IS IMPORTANT CAUSE YOU CAN'T PAINT WATER.

NOW IT'S TIME FOR THE SECOND STEP. YOU NEED TO WIPE THIS IN ONE DIRECTION WITHOUT GETTING TOO MUCH ON. YOU WANT TO CONTROL SO IT DOESN'T RUN OR COLLECT IN THE POCKETS. STEP THREE OF THE ONE CHOICE SYSTEM IS THE ACTUAL ADHESION PROMOTER ITSELF IN THE RATTLE CAN. THIS REQUIRES ONE WET COAT BUT BE CAREFUL NOT TO GET ANY RUNS. SO EXERCISE A LITTLE BIT OF TECHNIQUE. A 50 PERCENT OVERLAP JUST SPRAYING YOUR TOP COATS WORKS WELL. SPEAKING OF TOP COATS, WE'VE GOT THE FACTORY COLOR MIX INTO THE GUY AND I'M APPLYING, THREE MEDIUM WET COATS TO THE BUMPER COVER.

(RYAN)>> HEY GUYS, WELCOME BACK TO THE SHOP.

NOW WHILE KEVIN'S PAINT WORK ON THE FRONT BUMPER DRIES, WE THOUGHT WE'D TAKE A FEW MINUTES AND PAY A LITTLE BIT OF ATTENTION TO THE FRONT BRAKES ON THIS TRUCK AND MAKE THEM LOOK A LITTLE BIT BETTER BEHIND THE BIG OPEN SPOKES OF OUR 20 INCH WHEELS. NOW NOT EVERYBODY CAN AFFORD A $3,000 BIG BRAKE KIT. AND FOR US IT WAS CERTAINLY NOT IN THE

BUDGET FOR THIS TRUCK.

SO ALL WE WANT TO DO IS MAKE THEM LOOK BETTER BECAUSE THE PADS AND ROTORS ARE LIKE NEW, THEY'VE GOT PLENTY OF MILES LEFT ON THEM. SO WHAT WE'RE GONNA DO IS PAINT THE CALIPERS RED TO MATCH OUR RED TRUCK AND GIVE IT A LITTLE BIT OF THAT CUSTOM LOOK WITHOUT SPENDING A WHOLE LOT OF TIME OR MONEY IN THE PROCESS. NOW WE'RE REMOVING THE BRAKE CALIPER SO WE CAN THROW IT ON A BENCH TOP AND MAKE IT EASIER FOR YOU GUYS TO SEE WHAT WE'RE DOING WHEN WE'RE PAINTING IT. BUT IT'S NOT REQUIRE AND IT'LL SAVE YOU THE HASSLE OF BLEEDING THE BRAKES IF YOU JUST LEAVE IT IN PLACE. WE'RE USING A CALIPER PAINT KIT FROM DUPLICOLOR TO GET THE JOB DONE.

WE'RE OBVIOUSLY GOING WITH RED, BUT IT COMES IN A VARIETY OF DIFFERENT COLORS. NOW THE KIT INCLUDES CALIPER CLEANER, OBVIOUSLY SOME PAINT, A LITTLE BIT OF MASKING TAPE, A PAINT BRUSH, AND A STIR STICK. THE FIRST THING WE'VE GOT TO DO IS CLEAN SOME PARTS.

NOW WE'RE USING THE PROVIDED CALIPER CLEANER, A WIRE

BRUSH, SOME ELBOW GREASE, AND A LITTLE BIT OF DEGREASER TO CLEAN UP THE CALIPER AND THE CALIPER BRACKET. THEN AFTER A NICE LITTLE SHOWER IN THE CALIPER CLEANER AND A WIPE DOWN WITH THE SHOP TOWEL, WE'RE READY FOR PAINT.

THE DIRECTIONS CALL FOR A FEW MEDIUM COATS OF PAINT, SO YOU'RE NOT TRYING TO COAT THE ENTIRE THING ON THE FIRST PASS. JUST GIVE IT FIVE MINUTES IN BETWEEN COATS AND YOU'LL END UP WITH FULL COVERAGE AFTER THOSE FEW COATS ARE APPLIED. AND IF YOU'RE PAINT THE CALIPER ON THE VEHICLE, WELL YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO GET TO ALL THE SPOTS WE'RE ABLE TO GET TO HERE. BUT THE SPOTS YOU CAN GET TO ARE THE SPOTS YOU'LL BE ABLE TO SEE, SO IT'S NO BIG DEAL. NOW WE LEFT OUR BRAKE HOSE IN PLACE, SO WE DON'T HAVE TO DEAL WITH BRAKE FLUID DRIBBLING OUT ONTO OUR CALIPER, RUIN OUR NICE NEW PAINT JOB. NOW WE THOUGHT ABOUT PAINTING THE CALIPER MOUNTING BRACKET RED AS WELL, BUT FIGURE THAT

MIGHT BE A LITTLE MUCH. SO WE GRABBED SOME HIGH HEAT SEMI GLOSS BLACK OFF OF OUR

SHELF AND GAVE IT A COAT OF NEW, DONE! NOW THE FIRST THING INSTALLED IS THE CALIPER MOUNTING BRACKET. FOLLOW THAT WITH THE CLEANED UP STAINLESS STEEL SHIMS THAT GO IN BETWEEN THE PADS AND THE BRACKET, FOLLOWED BY THE INSTALLATION OF THE ORIGINAL PADS. NOW REMEMBER, WITH THE WHEEL OFF NOW'S A GREAT TIME TO INSPECT THE FRONT SUSPENSION AND THE STEERING LINKAGE FOR WEAR AND TEAR. MIGHT AS WELL SINCE YOU HAVE THE WHEEL OFF. THE BRAKE CALIPER IN RED LOOKS REALLY GOOD AGAINST OUR BLACK MOUNTING BRACKET. WHILE THIS WON'T DO ANYTHING TO IMPROVE OUR STOPPING DISTANCE, IT SURE DOES LOOK GOOD AND IT DIDN'T TAKE MUCH TIME TO DO IT.

(KEVIN)>> JUST NORTH OF THE HISTORIC SAINT JOHNS BRIDGE IN PORTLAND, OREGON, YOU'LL FIND THE HOME BASE OF BUSHWACKER, THE FOREMOST PRODUCER OF TRUCK AND SUV BODY GEAR. IT'S AN AWARD WINNING AMERICAN MADE SUCCESS STORY THAT BEGAN IN 1967.

(JERRY)>> A COUPLE OF GUYS CAME TO ME AND THEY HAD JEEPS. THEY WERE OFF ROADERS AND THEY SAID, HEY, COULD YOU DESIGN SOMETHING UP? I'M A DESIGN ENGINEER FOR JEEP, UNIVERSAL JEEP, AND I DID FOR THE REAR FENDER. AND IT KEPT THE MUD AND DEBRIS OFF THEIR MIRRORS AND OFF THE SIDE OF THE VEHICLE, AND THAT WAS THE START.

(RYAN)>> 46 YEARS OF DESIGN AND INNOVATION LATER, BUSHWACKER REIGNS AS THE LEADING MAKER OF FLARES, NOW IN SEVERAL STYLES ALONG WITH OTHER RELATED ACCESSORIES.

(KIM)>> HAVING A POWERFUL BRAND THAT PEOPLE RECOGNIZE, PEOPLE ARE PROUD TO PUT ON THEIR VEHICLE. YOU KNOW JERRY COINED THE PHRASE FUN FENDER FLARES. BUT REALLY, MOST PEOPLE WALK IN AND SAY I WANT A SET OF THOSE BUSHWACKERS.

(KEVIN)>> IT ALL HAPPENS UNDER ONE ROOF, FROM

CREATING NEW DESIGNS TO SHIPPING PRODUCTS OUT TO CUSTOMERS AROUND THE WORLD.

(RYAN)>> THE MATERIAL USED FOR FLARES AND OTHER BUSHWACKER PRODUCTS IS A TRADE MARKED HIGH IMPACT PRODUCT CALLED DURAFLEX 2,000. FLEXIBLE, YET TOUGH AND RIGID ENOUGH TO HOLD ITS SHAPE.

(KEVIN)>> THIS WORKER'S MAKING CHEVY SUBURBAN FLARES. HEATED TO 360 DEGREES IN A FIXTURE IS PART OF THE VACUUM FORMING PROCESS.

(RYAN)>> THEN EACH ONE IS HAND TRIMMED BEFORE BOLT HOLES ARE ADDED WITH A DRILL PRESS. FINALLY THE PRODUCT, WHICH COMES WITH A LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY, IS PACKED AND READY FOR SHIPMENT. THE COMPANY'S PROUD OF ITS LOW DEFECT RATE, LESS THAN ONE PERCENT, AND PROUD OF ITS HARD EARNED MARKET SHARE.

(RUSS)>> WE HAVE CUSTOMERS AROUND THE WORLD, MULTIPLE CONTINENTS, VERY INTERESTING.

WE HAVE A CONSIGNMENT LEAVING THE SHOP TODAY. IN FACT IT'S OFF TO CHINA.

(KEVIN)>> IN CASE YOU WERE WONDERING ABOUT ALL THAT EXCESS PLASTIC IN PRODUCTION, CHECK THIS. EVERY BIT OF IT GOES TO A SPECIAL RECYCLING ROOM WHERE IT'S LOADED ONTO A CONVEYER BELT AND GROUND INTO

PARTICLES THAT'LL PROCESSED TO MAKE NEW PLASTIC SHEETS. AS FOR NEW PRODUCT RELEASES, BUCKWACKER RELIES HEAVILY ON END USER FEED BACK.

(KIM)>> AS YOU GUYS KNOW, WE'RE REALLY EXCITED AFTER OUR FOCUS GROUPS. WE'VE GOT A LOT OF GOOD INFORMATION AND FEEDBACK FOR THE NEW JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE THAT WE'RE GONNA DO. LOOKING AT THE TWO DIFFERENT STYLES OF PRODUCTS WE'RE

GONNA MAKE, THE EXTENDED FENDER OR THE POCKET STYLE. AND UNANIMOUSLY THE FEEDBACK CAME BACK LETS START OUT

WITH OUR POCKET STYLE.

(JERRY)>> I LIKE THE POCKET STYLE, EVEN THOUGH THE STANDARD FOR BUSHWACKER IS THE EXTEND A FENDER, THAT POCKET STYLE IS ALIVE. IT JUST POPS.

(RUSS)>> FIRST TO MARKET IS KEY TO EVERYTHING WE DO. WE HAVE TO. WHEN THE CAR COMES OUT, WE HAVE TO HAVE PRODUCTS FOR THOSE CARS.

(RYAN)>> THE DESIGN TEAM WASTES NO TIME, CAPTURING THE NEW JEEP MODEL IN THREE DIMENSIONAL CAD SOFTWARE. FOR THAT, STERLING LOGAN USES A PORTABLE LASER SCANNER TO LASER SCAN THE ENTIRE VEHICLE.

(STERLING)>> AS WE SCAN THE SURFACE, WE KNOW THAT WE CAN BRING THAT INTO THE COMPUTER AND IT'S GONNA BE ACCURATE TO MAYBE A FEW THOUSANDTHS. SO WHEN WE GO TO DESIGN THE FLARE, AND ON THIS PARTICULAR APPLICATION IT'S GONNA BE A POCKET STYLE FLARE, WE KNOW WHEN WE PUT THE FLARE ON THE VEHICLE IT'S GONNA FIT PERFECTLY.

(RYAN)>> AFTER THE FLARE'S CREATED ON THE COMPUTER, IT TELLS THE POSEIDON CMF MACHINE TO CUT A PATTERN.

(DAN)>> FROM THAT WE TEST IT AND TEST FIT THE PARTS THAT COME OFF OF IT. AND ONCE THAT'S DONE WE WILL GO AHEAD AND DO WHAT WE CALL A SPLASH AND MAKE A CASTING OF THE PERMANENT TOOL.

(RYAN)>> AFTERMARKET ACCESSORIES FOR THE CONSUMER ARE STILL THE MAINSTAY, BUT BUSHWACKER'S ALSO MANUFACTURING OE OR ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT COMPONENTS FOR NUMEROUS VEHICLE MANUFACTURERS. FOR THAT THEY USE MULTIAXIS CNC MACHINES TO TRIM THE PARTS. AND HIGH QUALITY TWO STAGE SHERWIN WILLIAMS PAINT TO

GIVE THEM A FACTORY FRESH FINISH.

(JERRY)>> THEY HAVE THEIR STANDARDS AND YOU HAVE TO MEET THEIR STANDARDS. AND IN DOING SO THAT'S ALLOWED BUSHWACKER TO PROGRESS EVEN MORE INTO QUALITY.

(RUSS)>> WE MAKE ALL OUR OWN TOOLING, ALL OUR OWN FIXTURING. SO WHEN A CUSTOM COMES TO US AND SAYS, HEY, WE NEED PRODUCT "X", WE DON'T HAVE TO OUTSOURCE THAT TOOLING, WE DON'T HAVE TO OUTSOURCE THAT ENGINEERING. BAM, WE TAKE IT OFF TO ENGINEERING AND WE CAN GO

FROM CONCEPT TO PROTOTYPE IN TWO WEEKS.

(KEVIN)>> HERE'S SOME PROOF OF THE COMPANY'S OE COMMITMENT. A NEW MASSIVE KEFFLE THERMAL FORMER, WHICH USES A PAIR OF 2,500 POUND BILLET MOLDS.

THE KEFFLE CAN QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY PRODUCE COMPLEX THREE DIMENSIONAL PARTS. LIKE IN TODAY'S CASE SPOILERS FOR NEW KIAS.

(JERRY)>> I LOVE HIGH TECH. ANYTHING THAT'S NEW, INNOVATIVE THAT MAKES WORK EASIER OR FASTER, OR MORE PRECISE, I'M FOR IT, SPEND THE DOLLARS, LETS DO IT.

(KEVIN)>> A PLASTIC SHEET IS FED INTO EACH SIDE OF THE MACHINE AND THE MACHINE DOES THE REST, HEATING, MOLDING, AND FUSING THE SHEETS WITH ROBOTICALLY INSTALLED MOUNTING BOLTS. IN A FLASH THE FINISHED SPOILERS ARE READY FOR TRIMMING AND SHIPMENT TO THE OE CUSTOMER.

(RUSS)>> WE'RE MAKING PRETTY GOOD PROGRESS, HOPEFULLY WE'LL STAY ON.

(KEVIN)>> ON OUR VISIT A NEW AUTOMATED PAINT OPERATION WAS IN THE WORKS, CAPABLE OF QUADRUPLING PRODUCT OUT THERE.

(RYAN)>> IT DOES TAKE AN ENTHUSIASTIC TEAM OF PEOPLE AND TECHNOLOGY TO MAKE A PRODUCT THE

BEST IN ITS FIELD. JERRY LOGAN'S A BELIEVER IN LEADING BY EXAMPLE.

(JERRY)>> THE PHILOSOPHY OF A COMPANY COMES FOR THE TOP DOWN. YOU TRY TO GET THE SYNERGY OF THE PEOPLE WITH WHAT YOU'RE DOING. IF THEY'VE GOT GAS IN THEIR VEINS, IT WORKS BETTER BECAUSE THIS IS AN AUTOMOTIVE TYPE COMPANY. I'M A GEAR HEAD.

(KEVIN)>> HEY GUYS, WELCOME BACK TO TRUCKS. WELL CHECK OUT THE NEW FACE LIFT ON THE SIERRA. THE COLOR KEY BUMPER BRINGS IT UP A LEVEL, AND IN OUR OPINION LOOKS MUCH, MUCH BETTER. AND WE KNOW THAT THIS PAINT'S GOING TO STICK BECAUSE WE DIDN'T JUST SCUFF THE PLASTIC AND HOPE. WE USED A PROVEN PPG PAINT SYSTEM THAT'S GUARANTEED THAT THE PAINT STICKS TO THAT INJECTION MOLDED PLASTIC.

NOW ONE OTHER THING THAT WE DID IS BLACK OUT OUR LITTLE FOG LIGHT HOLES. THIS GIVES IT A BETTER LOOK AS WELL AS, MAYBE DOWN THE ROAD WE CAN THROW SOME FOG LIGHTS IN THERE. BUT FOR NOW JUST FLAT OUT LOOKS COOLER.

THE OTHER THING YOU WANT TO NOTICE IS THE PAINT MATCHES THE TRUCK. HERE'S HOW. NOW IT'S NO SECRET THAT EVERY VEHICLE HAS A MANUFACTURER'S PAINT CODE, AND THESE GM TRUCKS, IT'S RIGHT HERE IN THE GLOVE BOX ON THIS WHITE TAG, IT HAS EVERY VEHICLE CODE, THE VIN NUMBER INCLUDING THE PAINT CODE. BCCC IS BASE COAT/CLEAR COAT, "U" STANDS FOR UPPER,

9260, WELL THAT'S THE BRIGHT RED THAT YOU SEE ON THE TRUCK. WE CALLED IT INTO AUTO BODY COLOR AND SUPPLY. THEY MIXED US UP A PINT OF PAINT. THEY DID THEIR JOB, WE DID OURS, THE PAINT MATCHES. NOW ONE OF THE REASONS WE LIKED THIS TRUCK SO MUCH WHEN WE BOUGHT IT IS BECAUSE IT WAS IN SUCH GREAT SHAPE, AND THAT INCLUDES THE PAINTED SURFACES. SO WE WANTED TO KEEP IT LIKE THAT. WE INSTALLED A WIND DEFLECTOR FROM STAMPEDE

ON THE FRONT LEADING EDGE OF THE HOOD. THIS IS A NO DRILL INSTALLATION. IT COMES WITH CLIPS AND SCREWS THAT GO INTO EXISTING HOLES IN THE HOOD. AND SINCE IT'S CLEAR, IT PRETTY MUCH DISAPPEARS ONCE YOU PUT IT ON THE VEHICLE.

NOW IT'S GONNA DO EVERYTHING THAT A WIND DEFLECTOR IS SUPPOSED TO DO. KEEP RAIN AND SOME DEBRIS OFF HE WINDSHIELD BUT IT ALSO PROTECTS THE GLASS AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THIS LEADING EDGE OF THE HOOD FROM ROCK CHIPS AND DEBRIS THAT'S GONNA COME UP AND POSSIBLY CHIP THE PAINT, EVEN GET IT TO RUST. SO THE STAMPEDE WIND DEFLECTOR SERVES A COUPLE OF DIFFERENT FUNCTIONS AND LOOKS PRETTY

GOOD DOING IT TOO.

(RYAN)>> HEY GUYS, IF YOU'RE IN THE MARKET FOR A WELDER THAT CAN DO JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING, YOU NEED TO TAKE A CLOSE LOOK AT THE MILLER MULTIMATIC 200. THE CASE IS NICE AND STURDY. AND AT 29 POUNDS IT'S LIGHT WEIGHT AND PORTABLE. LIKE WE SAID, YOU CAN WELD JUST ABOUT ANYTHING WITH THIS MACHINE. YOU CAN DO STEEL OR ALUMINUM. YOU CAN ARC WELD, MIG WELD, OR YOU CAN EVEN TIG WELD. AND WITH THE AUTO SET FEATURES, WELL IT'S VERY USER FRIENDLY AND SETUP IS A BREEZE. HECK YOU CAN EVEN RUN IT ON COMMON HOUSEHOLD CURRENT OR 220 POWER DEPENDING ON WHAT YOU HAVE. NOW YOU GUYS HAVE SEEN US USE EBC BRAKES

BEFORE HERE ON THE SHOW. WE'VE USED THEIR YELLOW STUFF, RED STUFF, AND GREEN STUFF PADS, BUT THEY'VE DEVELOPED A NEW FORMULA AND A CORRESPONDING COLOR. THESE ARE THE NEW ORANGE STUFF BRAKE PADS, AND IT'S A PRETTY AGGRESSIVE COMPOUND. IN FACT EBC RECOMMENDS THAT YOU ONLY USE THESE FOR TRACK AND RACE USE ONLY.

NOW IN ADDITION TO BEING AN AGGRESSIVE COMPOUND, THEY'VE ALSO GOT A DEEP "V" GROOVE IN THE CENTER OF THE PAD, AND THAT WILL HELP WITH PAD VENTING. NOW THEY CLAIM THAT THESE PADS WILL NOT FAD NO MATTER HOW HARD YOU ABUSE THEM. NOW THE MAJORITY OF LATE MODEL VEHICLES OUT THERE RUN A MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR TO HELP DETERMINE THE ENGINE'S AIR/FUEL RATIO, AND CRC HAS A PRODUCT TO EXTEND THE LIFE OF YOURS. THIS STUFF WILL CLEAN THE MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR WIRE SAFELY AND WITHOUT LEAVING ANY RESIDUE. AND SINCE IT'S SAFE FOR PLASTICS AND PAINTS, WELL YOU WON'T DO ANY DAMAGE IN THE PROCESS. AND BY USING CRC'S MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR CLEANER REGULARLY, WELL YOU'LL MAKE SURE THAT THE ENGINE UNDER THE HOOD IDLES SMOOTHLY AND YOU CAN MAXIMIZE YOUR CAR'S FUEL ECONOMY. GUYS, THANKS FOR WATCHING TRUCKS. YOU GOT ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS OR ANYTHING ELSE, CHECK OUT POWERBLOCK TV DOT COM, AND WE'LL SEE YOU NEXT WEEK.
