A Supercharged LSA-Powered Ford Ranger Drift Truck

Australia always comes through with awesome builds. With 556 horsepower and 580 lb-ft of torque, this Ford Ranger is no joke. Far from factory form, this Ranger has been turned into a drift truck by Gardner Mods and Kay’s Fabrication in Queensland. Powering the truck is a monster 6.2-liter V8 mated with a TR6060 six-speed manual transmission.

The engine, normally found in the Chevy Camaro ZL1, replaced the trucks old four-banger engine. Even better, they threw a blower on it making this lightweight truck a hooning beast.

A C-notch in the frame fits a Ford 9-inch rear. The steering angle was increased to make it more ideal for drifting, and the body was lowered quite a bit. Also, a roll cage was fabricated and installed inside to keep the driver safe, and handling comes from a four-link suspension.
