(ANNOUNCER)>> TODAY WE'RE BACK TO WORKING ON OUR 1971 CHEVY C-10. WE'RE ADDING NEW TRUCK ARMS, LOWERING SPRINGS, SWAY BARS, AND REBUILDING OUR FRONT CONTROL ARMS. IT'S ALL TODAY HERE ON TRUCKS.

(KEVIN)>> HEY, WELCOME TO THE SHOP. WELL TODAY WE'RE BACK ON THE '71 C-10 PICK UP AND WE'RE GONNA PLAY AROUND WITH IT A LITTLE BIT MORE AND THROW A LITTLE BIT MORE OF OUR OWN SENSE OF STYLE ONTO THIS TRUCK. NOW SOME OF YOU GUYS MIGHT BE THINKING NOW THAT YOU'VE GOT IT BEEFED UP WITH A SIX LITER LS ENGINE AND A

BULLETPROOF FOURL-80-E TRANSMISSION WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO CHANGE IT. IT'S A COOL CLASSIC TRUCK WITH A MODERN DRIVETRAIN, BEAUTIFUL.

WELL IT IS BEAUTIFUL TO LOOK AT, BUT ONE THING THAT THAT MODERN DRIVETRAIN SHOWED US WITH THIS VEHICLE IS THAT

THE 40 PLUS YEARS OF AGE ON EVERY OTHER COMPONENT

IN THE TRUCK, WELL IT NEEDS A LITTLE HELP. SO OUR THOUGHT IS LETS UPGRADE THAT STUFF, LETS MAKE IT HANDLE BETTER, AND AT THE SAME TIME MAKE IT LOOK A LOT BETTER WITH THE HELP OF THE AFTERMARKET.

(RYAN)>> NOW IN ADDITION TO THE CHASSIS WE ALSO HAD A FEW OTHER ISSUES WITH GRIP AND TRACTION, EVEN AT MODERATE SIX LITER POWER LEVELS. THAT WAS LARGELY DUE TO THESE OLD TIRES. JUST KIND OF DRY ROTTED AND WORN OUT, BUT THEY DO HAVE A COUPLE OF THINGS GOING FOR THEM. THEY'RE ROUND AND THEY HOLD AIR, BUT THAT'S WHERE THE LIST STOPS.

SO IT WAS TIME FOR AN UPGRADE, AND FOR THAT WE WENT TO MICKEY THOMPSON AND PICKED OUT A SET OF THEIR SPORTSMAN SR RADIALS. THESE ARE 28 BY 12 BY 18'S.

NOW WE RAN A SET OF THESE ON PROJECT HRT A FEW YEARS BACK AND WE LOVED THE TREAD DESIGN AND THE GOOD SOFT AND STICKY TREAD COMPOUND. FOR WHEELS WE WENT TO COKER TIRE DOT COM AND PICKED OUT THESE ROCKET BOOSTER CLASSIC MUSCLE WHEELS IN A COOL FIVE SPOKE DESIGN.

THEY'RE 18 BY NINES WITH A FIVE AND A QUARTER INCH BACK SPACE, AND THEY'VE GOT A NICE CHROME FINISH. AND WITH THE CHROME BUMPERS ON THE TRUCK AND ALL THE BRIGHT TRIM WORK, THEY OUGHT TO LOOK PRETTY SHARP. NOW WITH THE TRUCK UP ON THE LIFT IT'S PRETTY CLEAR WHY WE'RE DOING SOME SUSPENSION WORK. LOOKS LIKE ONE OF THE PREVIOUS OWNERS TRIED TO LOWER THE TRUCK BY HEATING UP THE COIL SPRINGS, BUT IT

LOOKS LIKE HE GOT A LITTLE TOO CARRIED AWAY, COLLAPSED THE SPRING, AND HAD TO USE THESE LITTLE COIL SPRING SPACERS OR SHIMS TO PRY THE COIL BACK OPEN. I'M CURIOUS TO SEE WHAT KIND OF SHAPE THIS SPRING'S IN ONCE WE GET IT OFF THE TRUCK. NOW ON A TRUCK THIS AGE, EVEN A SOUTHERN TRUCK LIKE OURS, YOU CAN EXPECT TO FIND SOME RUST AND CORROSION ON THE HARDWARE AND FASTENERS. THIS IS WHERE PENETRATING OIL AND AIR TOOLS REALLY COME IN HANDY, BUT OURS WAS KIND OF PROTECTED BY A LAYER OF GREASE AND DIRT AND DISASSEMBLED RATHER EASILY.

(KEVIN)>> NOW NORMALLY THERE'S A WHOLE LOT OF STORED ENERGY IN THIS COIL SPRING BUT LOOK AT THE COILS BOUND TOGETHER. LOOK AT THAT, THIS THING IS USELESS AND IT'S JUNK.

(RYAN)>> TYPICALLY WITH STOCK HEIGHT COIL SPRINGS THERE'S A LOT OF STORED ENERGY IN BETWEEN THE UPPER AND LOWER AARMS AND YOU NEED TO BE CAREFUL. DISCONNECT THE UPPER BALL JOINT AND THE SPRING WANTS TO BECOME A FLYING OBJECT. NOT SO MUCH IN THIS CASE.

NOW WHILE KEVIN FINISHES TEARING DOWN THE FRONT SUSPENSION, I WANT TO JUST SHOW YOU THE PARTS WE'RE GONNA BE INSTALLING CAUSE WE WANTED A MATCHED SUSPENSION SYSTEM INSTEAD OF THE COBBLED UP MESS THAT WAS ON THERE. SO WE WENT TO BROTHERS TRUCK PARTS AND PICKED UP THEIR STAGE THREE LOWERING KIT FOR '63 TO '72 CHEVY PICK UPS. IT'S GONNA GIVE US THREE INCHES OF DROP UP FRONT AND FOUR INCHES OUT BACK, AND IT'S RATHER COMPLETE. IT COMES WITH A REAR SWAY BAR, WHICH ISN'T EVEN INSTALLED FROM THE FACTORY, A REAR TRACK BAR,

REPLACEMENT SHOCKS, AND FOUR INCH DROP SPRINGS. NOW NOT PART OF THE KIT ARE THESE TUBULAR CONTROL ARMS. OUR FACTORY ONES ARE KIND OF IN ROUGH SHAPE AND NEEDED REPLACING. PLUS THESE ARE TUBULAR, TWO INCH DOM, POWDER COATED, AND THEY WORK WITH ALL THE FACTORY COMPONENTS. NOW THE STOCKERS, THE REPLACEMENT COSTS FOR THEM, WELL IT WAS EQUAL TO THESE TUBULAR ARMS, SO THIS WAS A GOOD INVESTMENT. NOW FOR THE FRONT SUSPENSION IT'S MORE OF THE SAME. IT'S A NEW FRONT SWAY BAR, WHICH IS A LITTLE BIT THICKER THAN THE OE UNIT. IT COMES WITH NEW END LINKS, BRACKETS TO ATTACH THEM TO THE AARMS, SHORTER DROPPED SHOCKS, AND THREE INCH DROPPED COIL SPRINGS.

(KEVIN)>> SPEAKING OF COIL SPRINGS, THIS IS KINDA WHAT WE SUSPECTED.

SOMEBODY HAS HEATED UP THE COIL SPRINGS IN THE FRONT

END OF THE C-10 TRUCK, AND OBVIOUSLY THEY WENT TOO FAR, THE SPRING COMPRESSED TOO MUCH. SO THEY OVERCORRECTED WITH THESE TWIST IN SPACERS. BASICALLY IT DESTROYED THE ENTIRE SPRING AND JUST RUINED EVERYTHING. AND HERE'S WHY YOU SHOULDN'T DO THIS AT HOME. IT ONLY TAKES ABOUT 400 DEGREES TO CHANGE THE STRUCTURE OF SPRING STEEL INTO MILD STEEL, AND IT BECOMES SOFT AND MUSHY, WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT WE FELT DRIVING THE TRUCK. AND ON TOP OF THAT IT WEAKENS THE STEEL SO IT BECOMES UNSAFE. THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO DO IT. PUT THE TIME, INVEST THE ENERGY AND THE MONEY INTO A

NEW SET OF SPRINGS AT THE DESIRED RIDE HEIGHT THAT YOU WANT, AND DO IT RIGHT GUYS. DON'T DO THIS, THAT'S JUST BAD.

(KEVIN)>> WELCOME BACK TO TRUCKS AND THE REMOVAL OF THE SUSPENSION ON THE REAR OF OUR '71 C-10 PICK UP.

(RYAN)>> THAT'S INTERESTING.

(KEVIN)>> THIS CALLS FOR SOMETHING DRASTIC! NOW APPLYING A LITTLE BIT OF HEAT.

(RYAN)>> THERE WE GO.

(KEVIN)>> TECHNICALLY SPEAKING EXCITES THE MOLECULES IN THE METAL AND ALLOWS THE TWO PIECES OF STEEL THAT ARE FUSED TOGETHER WITH RUST TO COME APART. WHOO, THAT'S WARM. SO WE EXCITED THESE MOLECULES RIGHT ONTO THE FLOOR.

(RYAN)>> THAT'S WHAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR.

(KEVIN)>> THAT WAS EASY.

(RYAN)>> JUST FELL OFF.

(KEVIN)>> NOW SINCE WE KNEW WE WEREN'T THE FIRST ONES TO APPLY HEAT TO THESE SPRINGS, WE FIGURED IT WAS OKAY TO USE IT TO REMOVE THEM. NOW THE COOL THING ABOUT A BOLT IN SUSPENSION IS THAT MOST OF THE IT ACTUALLY BOLTS IN. AND THESE TRUCK ARMS, WELL THEY FELL RIGHT INTO PLACE AND MATCHED UP PERFECTLY WITH THE LOCATION OF THE OE'S.

(RYAN)>> I CAN BENCH PRESS A WHOLE TRUCK.

(KEVIN)>> NOW THIS SYSTEM REUSES THE LOWER SHOCK MOUNT PLATES. WE JUST SAND BLASTED THEM AND GAVE THEM A COAT OF

PAINT, THEY FIT RIGHT IN WITH THE BRAND NEW STUFF.

(RYAN)>> NOW THE STOCK NONADJUSTABLE TRACK BAR IS GETTING REPLACED, AND WE HAD TO USE A CUTOFF WHEEL TO REMOVE THE HARDWARE. NOW THE BUMP STOP'S GETTING REPLACED AS WELL WITH A NEW PIECE FROM BROTHERS TRUCK PARTS. A LITTLE PENETRATING OIL AND SLIDE ON HOME. THE REPLACEMENT TRACK BAR IS ADJUSTABLE, AND THAT WAY YOU CAN CENTER THE AXLE UNDERNEATH THE TRUCK ONCE IT'S ON THE GROUND AND MAKE SURE EVERYTHING'S LINED UP RIGHT. NOW THE SUPPLIED SHOCK MOUNTING STUD DOESN'T FIT THE OE PLATE. THE REMEDY FOR THAT, A LITTLE BIT OF DRILLING.

THE SHOCKS WE'RE INSTALLING WERE SUPPLIED IN THE KIT. WHAT WASN'T SUPPLIED IN THE KIT IS SOMETHING YOU MAY WANT TO CONSIDER IS THE SPRING RETENTION CUPS THAT HOLD THE COIL SPRINGS IN PLACE. OURS WERE CORRODED. EVEN THOUGH YOU MIGHT NOT THINK THEY'RE A WEAR ITEM, IT'S SOMETHING YOU NEED TO KEEP AN EYE ON AND REPLACE IF NECESSARY. NEW HARDWARE SECURES THE UPPER SPRING RETENTION CUP AS WELL AS THE LOWER SINCE KEVIN KIND OF OVER EXCITED IT.

(KEVIN)>> LET ME SHOW YOU WHY WE'RE REPLACING THESE LOWER TRAILING ARMS. LIKE THE REST OF THE TRUCK, THEY'RE JUST SHOWING THEIR AGE AND THEY'RE STARTING TO RUST THROUGH.

COMBINE THAT WITH THE RUBBER BUSHINGS WORN OUT ON THE END

AND THE FACT THAT THESE COST ABOUT AS MUCH AS THE NEW UPDATED LOWER TUBULAR ARMS WITH URETHANE BUSHINGS, WELL IT'S A WASH AND IT MAKES GOOD SENSE TO DO. NOW THE ONE THING WE HAVEN'T DONE ON THE REAR IS INSTALL THIS SWAY BAR KIT. THESE ARE THE STRAPS TO INSTALL IT ON THE ORIGINAL ARMS, AND IT'S JUST A MATTER OF DRILLING HOLES, LOCATING THE BAR THIS WAY. HOWEVER, WITH THE NEW TUBULAR ONES, THERE IS NO 90 DEGREE SHELF LIKE THAT. SO IT INVOLVES A LITTLE BIT OF FABRICATION BUT THE BENEFITS FOR A REAR SWAY BAR FAR OUTWEIGH THE BIT OF WORK WE HAVE TO DO.

SO WE'RE GONNA SHOW YOU HOW.

(RYAN)>> NOW HERE'S WHAT WE CAME UP WITH, AND ONCE WE GET THIS WELDED TO THE SIDE OF THE TRUCK ARM, WELL WE'LL HAVE A GOOD FLAT LOCATION TO INSTALL OUR SWAY BAR BUSHING BRACKET. AND THE BRACKET WE MADE IS PRETTY SIMPLE. STARTED OUT WITH SOME QUARTER INCH FLAT PLATE, SOMETHING GOOD AND STRONG, DRILLED A COUPLE OF HOLES. WE'LL ADD SOME THREESIXTEENTHS THICK TRIANGULAR GUSSETS TO BUILD SOME STRENGTH BACK, WELDED A COUPLE OF NUTS IN PLACE, AND WELL INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL WILL BE A NICE ONE TOOL JOB. ONCE WE GET THESE PARTS WELDED ON AND OUR SWAY BAR INSTALLED, THE SUSPENSION ON THIS TRUCK WILL BE DONE. NOW NOBODY LIKES TO GRIND OFF FRESH POWDER COAT SO YOU CAN WELD ON NEW PARTS, BUT IN THIS CASE WE DIDN'T HAVE TOO MANY OPTIONS. SO NO BIG DEAL. YOU CAN TAKE YOUR TIME AND MASK OFF AREAS YOU DON'T WANT PAINTED, THAT THING CAN STILL LOOK GOOD. WE DID HAVE TO DRILL A COUPLE OF HOLES IN THE FRAME TO COMPLETE THE SWAY BAR INSTALLATION. JUST MAKE SURE THAT THE SWAY BAR SITS LEVEL WHEN THE TRUCK'S ON THE GROUND AND THE END LINKS ARE NEAR STRAIGHT UP AND DOWN.

COOL, WE'LL CINCH DOWN, TIGHTEN UP THE END LINKS,

GAMUT BOLTS FOR THE TRUCK ARMS AND WE'LL BE DONE.

(KEVIN)>> SEE WHAT THIS THING LOOKS LIKE IN THE WEEDS!

(KEVIN)>> HEY, WELCOME BACK. WELL TODAY WE'VE GOT EVERYTHING WE NEED TO DROP THIS TRUCK IN THE WEEDS, THREE INCHES IN THE FRONT, FOUR INCHES OUT BACK, ALL THANKS TO BROTHERS TRUCK PARTS. NOW WE GOT THE BACK PRETTY MUCH WRAPPED UP, BUT THE FRONT, WELL WE'VE GOT A LITTLE BIT OF HOME WORK TO DO CAUSE WE'RE GONNA DO WHAT YOU GUYS SHOULD PROBABLY BE THINKING ABOUT DOING AT HOME IF YOU ARE IN THE SAME SITUATION, CHECK THIS OUT. WORN OUT, BALL JOINTS WORN OUT, TIE ROD ENDS, PITMAN ARM, IDLER ARM WORN OUT. YOU CAN'T BUILD A FOUNDATION ON SAND AND YOU SHOULDN'T BE PUTTING UPGRADED PARTS ON WORN OUT OE PARTS. SO I'VE GOT A LITTLE BIT OF TEAR DOWN TO DO.

(RYAN)>> NOW KEVIN'S GOT THE FRONT END OF THE TRUCK COMPLETELY TORN DOWN. HE'S GOT THE CONTROL ARMS DISASSEMBLED, BLASTED, AND PAINTED, BUT THEY NEED TO BE REBUILT BEFORE THEY GET REINSTALLED. NOW CHECK OUT THE BIG BOX FULL OF WORN OUT PARTS AND SCRAP METAL THAT CAME OFF OF THESE THINGS. NOW EVERYTHING IN THERE IS GOING TO GET REPLACED WITH NEW PARTS THAT WE PICKED UP FROM ROCK AUTO DOT COM. THE FIRST THING WE'RE GONNA DO IS INSTALL SOME NEW BALL JOINTS. NOW THE UPPER CONTROL ARM BALL JOINTS ARE A PIECE OF CAKE. THEY BOLT IN, AND YOU CAN REMOVE AND INSTALL HARDWARE, THEN YOU CAN REPLACE THE BALL JOINTS. THE LOWERS, NOT SO EASY, BUT NOT TERRIBLE. SOME TIMES THESE ARE ALREADY THREADED AND SOMETIMES GREASE ARE DESIGNED TO CUT THEIR OWN THREADS.

THAT OUGHT TO DO IT. NOW REPLACING THE CONTROL ARM PIVOT SHAFTS IS PRETTY STRAIGHT FORWARD AS WELL. JUST NEED TO MAKE SURE THAT WHEN YOU INSTALL THE PIVOT SHAFT AND TIGHTEN DOWN THE END CAP BUSHINGS, THAT THE PIVOT SHAFT IS CENTERED IN THE CONTROL ARM FRAME. A SIMPLE MEASUREMENT TAKES CARE OF THAT. SHOULD HAVE AN INCH AND ELEVENSIXTEENTHS ON BOTH SIDES. THEN TO FINISH THINGS OFF JUST TORQUE IT DOWN TO 90 POUNDS WITH THE HELP OF SOMEBODY ELSE. THANK YOU SIR. NOW DURING TEAR DOWN KEVIN JUST USED OUR GIANT DAKE HYDRAULIC PRESS TO PUSH THE OLD BALL JOINT OUT OF THE CONTROL ARM. BUT IF YOU DON'T HAVE ACCESS TO A GIANT PRESS LIKE THAT OR IF YOU'RE REPLACING BALL JOINTS WITH THE AARM STILL ATTACHED TO THE VEHICLE, WELL YOU MAY FIND THE MATCO BALL JOINT SUPER SET IS WHAT YOU NEED. IT'S GOT A HEAVY DUTY CFRAME, ALL THE ADAPTERS

AND CUPS YOU NEED TO REPLACE JUST ABOUT ANY BALL JOINT ON JUST ABOUT ANY VEHICLE ON THE ROAD.

AND THAT'S WHAT WE'RE GOING TO USE TO INSTALL OUR NEW BALL JOINT. NOW IF YOU'RE ONLY GOING TO BE INSTALLING A FEW SETS OF BALL JOINTS IN YOUR LIFETIME, ANOTHER OPTION WOULD BE TO GO TO THE LOCAL PARTS STORE AND SEE IF THEY

HAVE ONE OF THESE THEY'LL LET YOU BORROW. KEEP GOING UNTIL THE BALL JOINT SEATS AT THE

BOTTOM OF THE CUP.

AND YOU'LL KNOW WHEN YOU'RE THERE. THAT'S IT! HAVING THE RIGHT TOOL FOR THE JOB MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE, COMPLETE! LETS JUST HELP THIS BOOT SEAT A LITTLE BIT EASIER.

WE SAVED THE ALIGNMENT SHIMS AND REINSTALLED THEM WHERE THEY WERE ON THE TRUCK, AND HOPEFULLY THAT'LL GIVE US A

GOOD JUMP START ON AN ALIGNMENT AND WILL ALLOW US TO DRIVE THE TRUCK TO THE ALIGNMENT SHOP. ON THE LOWER CONTROL ARM PIVOT SHAFT THERE'S AN INDEXING HOLE, AND THAT'S WHAT LOCATES THE PIVOT SHAFT TO THE CROSS MEMBER. THERE'S A LITTLE NUB ON THE CROSS MEMBER, JUST LINE IT UP, INSTALL THE UBOLTS, AND YOU'RE GOOD TO GO.

NOW INSTALLING OUR NEW LOWERING SPRINGS WAS PRETTY STRAIGHT FORWARD. WE DIDN'T HAVE TO COMPRESSED THE COIL SPRING TO INSTALL IT OR TO ADD THE KNUCKLE. A LITTLE BLACK SPRAY PAINT ON THE DUST SHIELD AND THE STEERING KNUCKLE TO GIVE IT A FRESHENED UP LOOK.

(KEVIN)>> WELL THAT JUST ABOUT WRAPS UP THE REBUILD OF THE FRONT END OF THIS TRUCK. SO THANKS TO BROTHERS TRUCK PARTS FOR NOT ONLY THE LOWERING KIT, BUT ALSO SOME OF THESE REPLACEMENT ITEMS THAT REALLY MAKE A DIFFERENCE. AND TO ROCK AUTO DOT COM FOR ALL THE BRAND NEW STEERING COMPONENTS. AND THIS COMBINED IS GOING TO MAKE THIS TRUCK HANDLE, LOOK BETTER, AND PERFORM AS WELL AS THAT

LATE MODEL DRIVETRAIN.

(KEVIN)>> HEY, WELCOME BACK. WE THINK THE NEW STANCE AND RIDE HEIGHT IS DEFINITELY A HOME RUN, AND THE WHEEL AND TIRE PACKAGE LOOKS KILLER ON THIS TRUCK. NOW FOR A VINTAGE VEHICLE YOU JUST CAN'T BEAT A FIVE

SPOKE WHEEL, AND THESE CHROME BOOSTERS FROM COKER, WELL THEY BRING IT UP A NOTCH, GET IT A LITTLE MORE MODERN FLAVOR. YOU COMBINE THAT WITH STICKY MICKEY THOMPSON RUBBER AND YOU'VE GOT A HANDLING HOME RUN. SPEAKING OF HOME RUNS, THE SUSPENSION SYSTEM IS

DEFINITELY GONNA DO ITS JOB, WHERE AS THESE GUYS, WELL THEY'VE BEEN REDUCED TO A HEAT TREATED MILD STEEL MESS THAT IS FRANKLY WORTH MORE BY WEIGHT THAN IT IS ON A TRUCK.

(RYAN)>> SO WITH A COMBINATION OF STOCK REPLACEMENT AND AFTERMARKET PERFORMANCE PARTS WE'VE COMPLETELY REBUILT THE SUSPENSION ON THIS TRUCK, FROM THE BALL JOINTS DOWN TO THE BUMP STOPS. AND IT OUGHT TO HANDLE BETTER THAN IT DID IN 1971 WHEN IT ROLLED OFF THE SHOWROOM FLOOR.

(KEVIN)>> FUEL SYSTEM MAINTENANCE JUST GOT A LOT EASIER WITH CRC'S ONE TANK POWER RENEW SYSTEM. THE CONCENTRATED GTWOP TECHNOLOGY DELIVERS A SHOCK TO THE SYSTEM, INCREASING CETANE AND ACTING LIKE A CLEANING AGENT TO LOWER EMISSIONS AND RESTORE LOST VEHICLE POWER. POWER RENEW WORKS GREAT FOR GASOLINE ENGINES AND FOR BIODIESEL APPLICATIONS WORKS JUST AS WELL. NOW REPLACING FOWLED INJECTORS CAN GET VERY EXPENSIVE, BUT THIS SYSTEM IS AN EXCELLENT CLEAN UP FOR STICKY INJECTORS AND MODERN SYSTEMS. NEW FROM CUSTOM AUTO SOUND IS THE USA 630, WHICH IS DESIGNED TO LOOK LIKE THE RADIO THAT CAME OUT OF

YOUR CLASSIC VEHICLE. BUT THE LOOKS ARE THE ONLY THING THAT'S ANTIQUE ON THIS SYSTEM, CHECK IT OUT. NEW FOR THIS MODEL IS THE iPOD INTERFACE, WHICH COMES WITH AN EXTENSION CABLE SO YOU CAN HAVE IT IN A DISCRETE LOCATION. IF YOU'VE GOT AN OLDER STYLE PLAYER OR CELL PHONE WITH AN EIGHTH INCH STEREO OUTPUT YOU'VE GOT A CABLE FOR THAT AS WELL. IT EVEN HAS A USB INPUT SO YOU CAN PLAY YOUR MUSIC FROM A FLASH DRIVE. NOW UP FRONT IS A COOL NEW DISPLAY, WHICH WILL SHOW THE ARTIST, SONG, ALBUM, AND PLAYLIST JUST LIKE A MODERN STATE OF THE ART SYSTEM. AND AT 300 WATTS OF OUTPUT YOU'RE NOT GONNA NEED ANY EXTERNAL POWER UNLESS YOU REALLY WANT TO RATTLE THE WINDOWS.

NOW IF YOU'RE LIKE ME AND YOU'VE GOT THREE OR FOUR DIFFERENT CANS OF MIXED GAS FOR ALL YOUR SMALL ENGINE NEEDS, WELL THIS STUFF IS REALLY NEWS. CHECK OUT TRUE FIELD. TRUE FIELD IS A PREMIXED HIGH QUALITY FUEL WITH YOUR POPULAR TWO CYCLE RATIOS AS WELL AS A FOUR CYCLE FEEL. NOW THESE ARE GRAB IT OFF THE SHELF PRECISION MIXED. SO THERE'S NO GUESSING AND NO MISTAKES. THEY CONTAIN SYNTHETIC OILS THAT MEET THE WARRANTY REQUIREMENTS OF YOUR NEW TOOLS. AND UNLIKE TODAY'S GASOLINE, TRUE FEEL HAS NO ETHANOL. SO THERE'S NONE OF THOSE ISSUES AND IT'S GOT A LONG SHELF LIFE. SO YOU CAN LET IT SIT ALL WINTER, PICK IT UP AGAIN IN THE SPRING, AND USE IT SAFELY. THERE'S ONE MORE THING I WANT TO SHOW YOU. THIS COMES FROM OUR BUDDY BRIAN FINCH OF HOT ROD TRANSFORMATIONS WHO'S MADE QUITE A NAME FOR HIMSELF BUILDING PRO TOURING CARS. WELL NOW HE'S BUILDING PARTS LIKE THIS. IT'S A DUAL RESERVOIR, OVER FLOW AND, EVAP CANISTER. ONE SIDE FOR YOUR REAR DIFFERENTIAL, THE OTHER SIDE FOR THE FUEL TANK. IT MOUNTS FLUSH INSIDE THE TRUNK COMPARTMENT AND IT

VENTS TO THE OUTSIDE. SO YOU NO LONGER HAVE THE FUEL SMELL, AND IF YOUR DIFFERENTIAL HEATS UP YOU'VE GOT EXPANSION. THEN YOU'VE GOT A PLACE TO PUT THAT EXPANSION.

FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THIS GO TO HOT ROD TRANSFORMATIONS DOT COM. AND FOR INFORMATION ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE THAT WE'VE SHOWN YOU TODAY OR WHAT WE'VE DONE ON TODAY'S SHOW, GO TO
