Florida Man’s Car Gets Stuck on Opening Drawbridge

According to WPTV, video footage surfacing from October 21st, 2021 shows a driver stuck on a drawbridge as it begins to open.

The car leans over a pit with a 40-foot drop into the water below. Panicked, the driver attempts to escape through his car door moments before gravity drops the vehicle onto the pavement. Once the bridge closes, the unknown driver gets back into his car and drives away.

The bridge tender on duty told investigators that she “did not see” the car on the bridge until after she closed it, saying her view of the vehicle was obstructed.
