Dodge announced in 2021 that they would be developing an all-electric muscle car where fans will see its concept model’s debut live in a few weeks. The official production model is scheduled to arrive in 2024, and Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis has previously claimed that this will not suggest the automaker’s immediate halt on internal-combustion engines. If anything, it could mean the co-existence of both ICE and EV platforms.

This news comes on the heels of recent rumors claiming that the 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye will have enough horsepower under the hood to push past 900 on the current platform. Fans believe that this will house the mopar’s most powerful ICE engine before the EV next-gen Challenger & Charger takes over. A deep, throaty magnum opus before the current platform bows out.
