The 2024 Nissan Titan Will Be The Truck’s Final Model Year Before Retirement
After 21 years, the 2024 Nissan Titan will be the full-size pickup truck’s final model year before leaving the production line for good. While this news may come as a surprise to some, some eagle-eyed enthusiasts may have seen this coming after Nissan pulled the truck from the Canadian market in 2021, unable to compete against Ford’s F-Series of pickups, which have dominated the market since 2009.

Why Is The 2024 Nissan Titan The Final Model?
After much speculation from media outlets, Nissan finally revealed that the company intends on ending production of the truck with the 2024 Nissan Titan at its plant in Canton, Mississippi. According to Nissan’s “Ambition 2030” plan, the company intends to convert its Mississippi plant into an EV production facility, allowing the manufacturing of two new electric vehicles.
What Kinds of Features Are on the 2024 Nissan Titan?
Of course, because the Titan has been a staple in the automaker’s lineup for over two decades, the 2024 Nissan Titan aims to go out on a very high note with an attractive collection of safety, performance, and tech features.
The truck will come equipped with the standard 5.6-liter Endurance V8 engine capable of producing 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque, as well as a max towing capacity of 9,290 pounds and a max payload capacity of 1,710 pounds. The upgraded Titan XD will have an increased towing capacity of 11,050 pounds and a payload capacity of 2,360 pounds.
These numbers are the result of the unique frame the 2024 Nissan Titan is built on. The Titan XD features a 151.6-inch wheelbase, which is approximately 12 inches greater than standard Titan models, as well as a 6.5-foot bed, and is available only as a four-wheel drive.
Because this will be a truck built for the 2024 model year, outfitting it with the latest in special tech features is the new standard of the production process. The 2024 Nissan Titan comes with Nissan Safety Shield 360, which is a collection of six selectable driver-assist systems, as well as features like Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist and Rear Automatic Braking.
This truck also keeps drivers connected wirelessly with Apple Carplay & Android Auto compatibility. In addition, the truck is equipped with a Fender Premium 12-speaker audio system.
What Trims Is The 2024 Titan Available In?
Of course, the 2024 Nissan Titan will be available in a selection of trims, each with their own unique set of performance enhancements. The PRO-4X brings more off-road fun into the fold with Bilstein shock absorbers and skid plates, Hill Descent Control and an electronic locking rear differential.
