Hauler Full Of New C8 Corvettes Goes Up In Flames

This is a tough one to watch. Corvette fans may want to avert their eyes from this auto hauler that went up in flames just outside of Nashville, TN. The video was posted to the C8 Corvette Owners (And Friends) Facebook page and documents an entire carrier of C8s ablaze.

It’s reported that the truck was a Jack Cooper auto hauler transporting the new C8s from the Bowling Green Assembly Plant to somewhere in the Nashville area. There’s no word on how many Corvettes were damaged but typical haulers can carry up to 10 cars, so if this rig was packed, a fire like this could potentially have cost GM around $1 million for just the car damage alone.

Fortunately, the driver of the hauler was able to get away from the flames unhurt.
