“In 2023, more than 700,000 customers chose a new Ford F-Series truck, making it the best-selling truck in the United States for the 47th consecutive year,” says Robert Kaffl, director, U.S. sales.
“It’s a streak that spans four generations (and started when I was only four) and has lasted longer than the entire lifespan of many other popular consumer products, including compact discs and mp3 players, and the entire brick-and-mortar video rental industry. But this accolade is not a walk down memory lane; F-Series continues to grow and in 2023, remained the best-selling vehicle in the nation for the 42nd year in a row.”
Loyalty to the Ford F-Series
From the F-150, the F-250, to the mighty F-350, every pickup in the F-Series family stands by the brand’s slogan of “Built Ford Tough”, by carrying on the tradition of strength, reliability, and versatility that loyal customers have been relying on for nearly 50 years. The latest models are equipped with the latest in driving technology such as BlueCruise hands-free highway driving, the A.I.-powered Pro Trailer Backup Assist, and Pro Power Onboard (available only on the Lightning) which acts as its own energy source to power work sites and even a home in the event of a power outage.
Another feature that the Ford F-Series prides itself on is its selection of powertrain options. Because many Ford customers come from different lifestyles and have certain needs, they require the right powertrain that reflects that. Whether it be an F-150 that is gas-powered, electric, or the PowerBoost Hybrid that has received the title of being the best-selling full-size hybrid pickup in America, as well as the second overall pickups just being the Ford Maverick.
WIth a 47 year streak under its belt, the Ford F-Series is expected to be ready to start celebrating a huge milestone for its 50th year as America’s best-selling truck.
