Vintage All-Electric AWD Ford Mustang Ready For Production
Electric cars are becoming increasingly popular, and it doesn’t seem like that’s changing anytime soon. In fact, it is now possible to reserve your very own all-electric vintage Ford Mustang.
Charge, a London-based company, is now offering and reserving orders for a classic all-electric ’60s Mustang. The plan is to only offer 499 of them. The classic Mustang shells are licensed by Ford and are available in both fastback and convertible. The car can be configured for rear-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive, and can accelerate from 0-60 in about 3 seconds.
A 64 kWh battery pack and 300 kW electric motor will power the beast allowing for 124 miles of range, and it will come with a DC fast-charging system allowing a 50 kW charge rate.
If looking to get your hands on one of these bad boys, they’ll be priced from $255,509 dollars and shipping out September of next year. Check out the teaser below.
