This New 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse Arrived at a Dealership Pre-Crashed
As excited as many Mustang fans have been with the release of the high-powered 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse, it has experienced a few blunders since its debut. There have been moments of production holdups, marked-up prices, and even having the wrong seats installed. To add insult to injury, a photo has surfaced online of a Carbonized Grey 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse showing up at a Ford dealership pre-crashed.
What Happened To This 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse?
In a photo shared to the Reddit group Justrolledintotheshop, the front end of the Mustang is seen with clearly visible damage along with a chunk of the lower bumper dangling off. There was also noticeable damage to areas of the splitter.
It is unknown as to how this 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse received this damage, though many speculate it was not properly secured to its delivery truck, resulting in it colliding with another car or the frame of the truck mid-transport. Of course, other Reddit members made the joke that this Mustang came this way pre-crashed, alluding to the car’s poor reputation of being involved in accidents at Cars and Coffee events.
But given that it happened to the Dark Horse version of the 2024 Mustang that makes this story all the more unfortunate, as it is the high-performance-focused trim with a starting MSRP of nearly $60,000. With enough added custom options, the cost of this car can rise up to $85k.
One can only assume that the repair costs for this particular Mustang won’t be passed on to the next customer, and either Ford or the dealership will have to foot the bill.
