It has been reported that several 2022 Ford F-150 Raptor pickup trucks were stolen from Ford’s truck plant in Dearborn, MI. The total worth of the stolen vehicles is approximately $1 million.

The MSRP for a base model price for a new 2022 Ford F-150 Raptor is $69,905, and the automaker reported the vehicles missing to police on June 10th.

Dearborn police managed to recover 13 vehicles in the last week, mainly in Detroit and Dearborn.

“There was evidence of fences being rammed,” says Dearborn spokesperson Bilal Baydoun. “When they were recovered, you could see signs of damage and some things were stripped away, tires, that kind of thing. They were in various states of disrepair.”

So far, one person has been arrested and the investigation is ongoing.

The Ford F-150 Raptor is a larger-scale version of the standard F-150 that comes equipped with a 450hp twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine.
