McQueen Racing & Steeda Are Developing A Unique, Race-Ready 2024 Ford Mustang

If you’re a fan of Steve McQueen, then you have already pictured him behind the wheel of his Ford Mustang during the legendary chase sequence from his 1968 film Bullitt. Now that the next-gen Ford Mustang is ready to peel out just around the corner, as is a limited-edition trim of the upcoming muscle car that is being produced by both McQueen Racing and Steeda Performance.

McQueen Racing, which is run by Steve McQueen’s son, Chad McQueen, announced that they will be joining forces once again with Steeda to develop a new, rare version of the new Ford Mustang to highlight its strong emphasis on performance and power. Following the success of their previous collaboration that gave us the 2019 Steve McQueen Edition Ford Mustang Bullitt, both companies have joined forces once again with the reveal of the 2024 McQueen Racing Ford Mustang.

“Our relationship with Steeda has been remarkable over the years. This new series of performance cars
represents a significant advancement,” McQueen said in a press release. “We’re starting with the Mustang, and I can assure you it will be nothing short of exceptional. I’m incredibly thrilled.”

What Is Included In The McQueen Racing Ford Mustang?

Because this car flies under the McQueen name, it comes with a certain performance standard. While the 2024 Ford Mustang already raises the bar in terms of power considering that it comes equipped with a 5.0-Liter Coyote V8 engine that produces 460 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. But thanks to its partnership with Steeda, it will come equipped with the company’s high-quality suspension, brake, and powertrain systems, giving it an extra taste of a track-ready race car.

The McQueen Racing Ford Mustang will also have a very distinctive exterior and interior styling. It will feature the McQueen Racing Mulholland wheels, Nitto Performance Tires, and be set at an aggressive stance in both supercharged and naturally aspirated versions of the 2024 Mustang. It will also provide hearty personalization options that will allow owners to make their cars uniquely theirs.
