Mustang Shelby GT350 Driver Live Streams 185 MPH Top Speed Run On YouTube, Gets Arrested
We’ve seen these before and they never turn out well. Why people keep posting illegal, dangerous stunts like this on social media is a mystery. Nevertheless, here we are with a Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 driver/YouTuber getting arrested in the middle of live streaming a 185-mph top speed run on a public highway in Mississippi.
Beau Alan Rogel decided to post a live YouTube video showing him accelerating to 185 mph while simultaneously pointing out his speedometer readings to the camera. It’s working out for him until about halfway through the video when lights are seen flashing behind him after someone called in and reported him for reckless driving.
The stream captures his whole confrontation with the police. When an officer notes the recording, he straight up tells them he makes money off YouTube videos and the crazy part is that the officers end up letting him go with a warning and to “take it to the drag strip.”
And while that part is lucky, he doesn’t get off that easily. Turns out, Rogel has a felony record for larceny and embezzlement which police discovered after seeing several social media posts showing Rogel in possession of a gun. That’s where they also found the live stream leading up to the traffic stop. After seeing all these findings, police pulled a search warrant and arrested him charging with reckless driving and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
