Wrestling Legend Hulk Hogan Helps Rescue Teen Driver Trapped in Overturned Car
It is always a heroic gesture for a good samaritan to help the victim of a car accident. But imagine one teen’s surprise when her hero was WWE icon and auto enthusiast Hulk Hogan.
According to TMZ, Hogan (real name Terry Bollea), his wife, and a friend were out driving in the Tampa, Florida area when they witnessed a multi-car crash with one car flipped over on its roof. It was then that Hulk Hogan and his friend Jake Rask jumped into action and came to the rescue of the teen driving the overturned car.

Hulk Hogan to the Rescue
According to a report by KKTV, the incident took place on the Veteran’s Expressway towards Clearwater, Florida. Hogan mentioned on his social media that he was able to puncture the airbags and free the teen driver from the overturned car using only a ballpoint pen. The cause behind the accident remains under investigation, but sources tell TMZ that a car was erratically swerving across lanes to catch an incoming exit, clipping another car, and causing it to flip over.
Hogan’s wife, Sky Daily, said of the incident on her social media, “Last night after we left dinner in Tampa, we saw a car flip in front of us! I truly admire my husband @hulkhogan and our good buddy @jakerask for springing into action, puncturing the girl’s airbag, and getting her quickly out of the car. By all appearances, she was unscathed, just really rattled, which is an absolute miracle!”
After Hogan and his friend Jake were able to escort the teen driver to safety, she was unhurt by the dramatic experience.
As Hogan famously once said, “I fear no man, no beast or evil, brother.” It seems that we can add flipped-over cars to that list.
