Here is a glimpse into the future: official images of the 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona in all of its pre-production glory. Dodge recently shared these images via social media, kicking off the new year with a sneak peek at the next-gen Charger that they have been teasing for over a year now with the caption “Available late 2024”.

Before, we got to see early renditions of the Dodge Charger Daytona SRT Concept online and at SEMA 2022. Now that same concept has been repurposed into a design better suited for mass-production.

What Do We Know About the 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona?

Fans awaiting specific details on the 2025 Dodge Charger, namely available powertrains, price, and special features, will have to be patient. The images suggest that the pre-production Charger shown is the electric version, as hinted by the lack of exhaust pipes by the rear bumper. However, online rumors strongly suggest that the 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona will be available in both electric and gas-powered powertrains, with the new Hurricane i6 engine being the replacement for the most recent HEMI V-8 found in the 2023 Dodge Chargers and Challengers.

But one clear detail seen in the images is the “DAYTONA” text embossed on the lower rear bumper, verifying that Dodge will be keeping the Daytona name alive in future cars.

Design Highlights

The 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona will also be returning as a two-door coupe, rather than staying with the 4-door sedan design that started in 2006. The images also show off the car’s front grille with a full-width light and logo, though the light is more of a single line than a complete rectangle like in the concept’s original design. This car also appears to showcase a defined character line running down the length of the body through the doors and rear fenders. The 2025 Dodge Charger appears to have real door handles installed, rather than the flush versions spotted on the concept car.

Some of the more noticeable changes can be spotted in the rear, showcasing its large spoiler, taillight design, and a new look for the rear valance section.

Other than the tech specs, all that is missing from this 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona are the additional logos claiming what kind of Charger it is. That is assuming both the Hellcat and Demon trims will be carried over into Dodge’s new generation of electric (and presumably gas-powered) muscle cars. All of this and more is expected to be revealed later in the year.
